Third class system. We took appointment for Driving test at 8:30-9:30 slot. They mentioned to come 30 mins earlier. We reached at 8. But no one came. Registration started at 9:15. And then Driving test at around 9:35. Very poor administration.

Very very dirty place. Spitting spots every where. I would have given ratings in minus for cleanliness. DO NOT GO TO ANY XEROX/PRINT SHOPS NEAR RTO. they charge 10rs for 1 page only. Excessively costly and cheaters. Get extra xerox from your nearby shops if needed. Even that would cost you lesser than getting xerox/print from these shops. These shops are located exactly opposite to rto. They are enjoying looting in the name of urgency

Staff is okay..You get solution of your vehicle related queries, registration and Number.They initiallly help.But have some wish to get something in back(Gift: money for tea).They not talk directly about it.For RC BOOK dispatch as per them it take around 15-20 days after detail come to them and when they send.So totally we have to run in respect to 1 month. Outside of the RTO at some distance many signs on road we can see that is made by driving school persons.To make their students to learn about parking and all.As per my view this thing should be done but not nearer to RTO office as here many vehicles come for passing or any other query.As time pass it may make difficulty to other person whether knowingly or unknowingly.

Visited RTO Ahmedabad East on 26/02/2026. My slot was 8:30–9:30 AM, but document identification started at 9:05 AM despite the office opening at 8:30 AM. Poor time management and unnecessary waiting.

The RTO office is unfortunately filled with license brokers, making the process frustrating and discouraging for genuine applicants. Instead of smooth services, people are often forced to depend on middlemen. Transparency and strict action are urgently needed to restore trust and ensure fair, direct access for the public. Not good
