Visited Idali Ghar, Bapunagar yesterday and had a really good experience. The idlis were soft and fresh, and the dosa was perfectly crispy with great flavour. The food tasted genuinely homely and comforting. The place was clean and nicely maintained, and the staff were very polite and friendly. They served everything with a smile, which made the visit even better. Overall, a satisfying experience with tasty food and good service. Definitely worth visiting!

nice place to try idli vada and masala idli with authentic sambar and chutney. you cannot compare sambar and chutney taste with Chennai or any s South Indian state BUT it is much better than other South Indian restaurants in Ahmedabad. ambience wise its average, food is very good, crowded place during morning and evening, parking is on roadside and difficult for 4 wheelers.

Everything was perfect and tasted authentic. The Highlight was that they don’t make you beg for extras. A generous serving of sambhar and chutney is placed on your plate right at the start. The filter coffee was the perfect finish. Hygiene (5/5): Extremely impressed. The place is neat and clean. The staff wears gloves and caps, and I noticed tables being cleaned immediately after customers finished. Very disciplined for a high-traffic spot. Ambience (4/5): It’s a functional QSR (Quick Service Restaurant) setup. Don't expect a "fine dine" lounging experience; it’s a stand-and-eat arrangement, but there is ample space to enjoy your meal comfortably. Staff & Management (5/5): Super polite and caring. They maintain a constant watch on the floor for refills and cleaning. The staff is incredibly proactive—they keep coming around to refill your sambhar and chutney before you even ask. It was great to see the owner personally managing activities and taking regular feedback from customers. That "owner’s touch" really shows in the service quality. Value for Money (5/5): Unbeatable pricing for the quality provided. * A plate with a combination of 3 (Idli + Wada) costs just ₹70. * Need an extra piece? Just ₹25. Very reasonable for the hygiene and taste they offer. Overall (4.5/5): Thumbs Up! Definitely worth visiting if you are in or around Bapunagar. Best food & service experience! The staff members are all friendly and kind, eager to serve you with a smile on their faces. Also, the open kitchen concept is excellent. You can see while food is being prepared. Must visit and try Venna Podi Masala Dosa and Pulihora Rice Good going
