I used to prefer Jay Bhavani style butter vada pav. I had tried some so called authentic Mumbai vada pav in Ahmedabad but never liked them. Then I went to Mumbai and wanted to try the real thing so I visited Ashok Vada Pav one of the pioneers of vada pav stalls in the city. I literally fell in love with it and it was so good, I had never tasted vada pav like that in my life. When I came back to Ahmedabad, I was disappointed with the “authentic Mumbai style” options here. But then I came across Mumbai Fresh Vada Pav and decided to order. Oh man the first bite tasted exactly like Ashok Vada Pav. The thecha, the sukhi chutney, the chura everything was spot on. The staff and the owner are also very polite and kind. If you want truly authentic Mumbai vada pav in Ahmedabad, Mumbai Fresh is the only place that serves it.

Visited this place after waiting for a long time and it was worth it. One of the best mumbai vadapav I have ever had. The thecha and garlic chutney are provided extra which is a plus. Must have for spicy lovers. The only downside is limited to no parking in front of shop and limited seating.
