I have installed Invisible grills (3mm thickness) in my apartment balcony and it is awesome. Superb strong quality, safety for kids and great protection from pigeons and monkeys. They installed nicely and it took 5-6 hours to complete the work in both the balcony. Definitely no comparison with normal pigeons net. 2 inch gaps between the net lines. It’s really good and highly recommended. Attached pics for reference.
