The rooms are spacious but require better maintenance. The wash basin was not properly cleaned. While the activities offered are good and enjoyable, the swimming pool was not well maintained. On a positive note, the breakfast was delicious.
First of all not a resort. We stayed there for 1 night. Check in time was 2 pm and we reached there by 3.15. Room was not ready waited till 4.15/4.30 and then finally got the room. Multiple issues with room… the bathroom door did not lock. The bathtub was leaking. We had to call plumber to fix which took another 30/40 mins. Finally we had room for ourselves at around 5/5.15. There was some event going on in the convention center the staff seemed to be busy there. There was no table for dinner. They arranged a table almost in the corner. After multiple requests they gave 2 glasses for 3 people. No tissues on the table. When we asked for tissues they put couple of tissues on the table no decent tissue holder. The order took almost a hour. During this wait time a coconut tree branch came crashing down right next to our table. No one seemed to bother about that. Not many food options. Any other restaurants in Bangalore would have more variety of food than this dhaba. Whatever food was available that too was not not good. Overall a very bad experience don’t go there and waste your money and ruin your time. Stay away….
If you’re a food lover seeking a quick escape from Bengaluru, Royal Orchid Resort in Yelahanka is your spot! We came for the vibes but stayed for the food—every meal was a celebration of flavors that left us craving more. The multi-cuisine restaurant is a standout: breakfast buffet overflowed with steaming idlis, crispy medu vadas dunked in aromatic sambar, fluffy appams with coconut stew, and Western favorites like buttery croissants and avocado toast. Freshly squeezed juices and filter coffee were perfection! Lunch at the poolside grill was smoky magic—tender seekh kebabs, peri-peri prawns grilled to juicy perfection, and wood-fired naans paired with dal makhani that was rich and creamy. The Chettinad chicken fry? Fiery, spicy bliss with hints of star anise and curry leaves—authentic South Indian soul food. Dinner’s unlimited thali stole the show: 10+ dishes including prawn masala, paneer butter curry, biryani bursting with saffron and cashews, and a dessert trio of gulab jamun, kulfi, and fruit custard. Even vegan/Gluten-free options were thoughtful and delicious. Cocktails like the spicy mango margarita complemented everything perfectly. Portions were generous, service swift (shoutout to chef Arun for customizing spice levels!), and prices reasonable (~₹800-1200 per meal). The serene poolside setting and bonfire dinners elevated it all. Rooms were comfy too, but the food is the real star—worth the 40-min drive from the city. Foodies, families, or anyone: come hungry, leave happy! 🌶️🍛
This hotel is a convention centre and resorts and is probably one of the earlier hotels in Blore. The resort is spread over a massive area as compared with modern day building hotels. However the location is a bit remote. It is very close to the airport and if your work is not beyond Hebbal then this is a good option to choose . Staff was nice. On-premise restaurants served good food and good breakfast. Rooms were big.
We stayed here for a vacation with our kids and chose a wooden cottage room. It was a truly fantastic experience. The view from the cottage was absolutely fabulous and very calming. The room was neat, well maintained, and quite spacious, which added to the overall peacefulness of our stay. The staff were extremely courteous and attentive, promptly acknowledging and addressing all our requirements. The food was also very good and matched the overall ambience of the place. Additionally, outside food can be ordered and is conveniently delivered at the entry/exit gate. The only minor drawback we noticed was some stamping noise from the first floor, as there seems to be limited sound insulation between the floors. Apart from this small issue, the overall experience was excellent, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
