This is a specialist North Indian cuisine fine dining restaurant. The quality of food is quite good, prices reasonable, decent portions & responsive servicing provided. Overall a cosy value for money dining experience at the heart of Velachery. Must try experience though ambience has scope for improving!
Our wedding anniversary dinner we had here, my wife chose this place for being purely vegetarian, North Indian food. We came in around 8pm, and few tables were occupied, being a week day, they have good support, I assumed. We stuck to the basic dishes, tomato soup, Chilly Paneer, Rotis and Kaju paneer. The soup was straight from a can! I suppose a tomato puree can, heated up with little spices, and a small spoon of cream, turning it into "Cream of tomato soup"! But it was served hot. It felt a little too hot because the AC wasn't working properly,! The other dishes were good nothing to complain. We didn't order anything else because it was not comfortable. Service was curtious.
One good pure-veg North Indian restaurant in Velachery that serves tasty food in a pleasant dine-in ambience. Our absolute favorites were the Cheese Kebab and the Dragon Roll. The cheese kebab had a soft, mushy, cheesy filling, while the dragon roll stood out with its perfectly crispy texture. We also tried the cheese naan paired with the chef’s special paneer gravy—such a great combo. The paneer paratha with veg Kolhapuri was equally satisfying. Overall, a good spread and a nice dining experience.
Had a wonderful dining experience here. The food was exceptionally tasty with perfectly balanced spices—nothing overpowering, just rich and well-rounded flavours. The naan was outstanding, soft and fresh, and easily one of the best I’ve had. The soup was lip-smacking and comforting, setting the mood right from the start. Service was prompt, polite, and well-organised, making the entire visit smooth and pleasant. The ambience was decent but felt a little simple compared to the quality of the food. Overall, a place worth visiting for great flavours and reliable service. Would definitely come back.
