I have visited this restaurant quite a few times, and my experience has been a mix of good and not-so-good moments. The Mandi and Al-Faham platters are usually the highlight – the chicken is tender, flavorful, and the rice is delicious. Whenever I’m in the mood for Mughlai food, I also find their dishes satisfying, and the family seating enclosures make it comfortable to dine with loved ones. However, I’ve also noticed some inconsistencies. At times, the portions feel smaller for the price charged, and on a few occasions, the food has taken longer than expected to arrive. The air-conditioning is a recurring issue, especially during summers, which makes the atmosphere less pleasant. That being said, I still go back because when they get it right, the food is truly enjoyable, and the staff usually try to serve with a smile. If they improve the service speed, consistency, and comfort, this place could easily become a favorite for many more.

Hatim Tai restaurant is a family restaurant & located at the corner of thokar no. 6 . Jamia Nagar okhla.Very congested place , facilities are just ok , services are poor. Less number of AC according to the crowd or people’s . Only 3 ACs for a capacity of almost 40 people, food is served cold, i ordered afgani chicken that was not properly cooked. Al-fahm is special dish of Hatim tai restaurant. Kheer was pathetic, chicken kadhai was poor, service was worst, had to wait 30 mins for waiter to serve water, and more than 1 hour for food. Over priced according to the food & location.

We ordered full Faham Mandi and shawaya Mandi.. the faham chicken was too dry and shawaya was a bit bland.. but the portion size is enough for 4 people..

We had Al-faham platter and it was really good. Seekh kebabs were ok in taste. However, their AC is not working during scorching summers, that’s a bad point.
