I purchased a 1000L Sintex Pure Edition tank from Mittal Sanitary & Hardware Store (Trusted for Quality Since 1966). The delivered tank was in poor condition – full of scratches, dust, and unremovable patches. When I raised the issue, responsibility was denied and I was initially told nothing can be done now and that I should have checked the product in the shop myself. Since the tank was urgently needed, I had no option but to get it installed on the roof. The store later responded here with an apology and an offer of exchange/refund. Although this came too late to help me, I appreciate the gesture and am therefore raising my rating from 1 star to 3 stars. Advice to future customers: Please ask the shop to show you the exact product before billing and carefully inspect it to avoid such issues.
