Traditional fish Market or either side of the road. Had it been without disturbing traffic would be a great place.

It is one of the biggest wholesale fish markets in this part of the city Which, of course, has its good and bad sides. The good things first. You get a huge variety of fish at a reasonable rate, of course you will have to know how to bargain. At the end of the day, say around 9 pm, you get fish at very low prices at some of the shops which are ready to call it a day. Now some of the down part. This entire stretch stinks of fish all the time, the road is blocked and the noise here is just that of a fish market! There is almost always a traffic log jam. Fish sellers are normally wholesalers so they charge extra for cutting the fish to pieces and descaling them if you are buying retail.

A variety of fish, available here. The market is flooded with fish water.

Wonderful place of the world and anyone can live with very low budget. especially for early morning live pond fish and seafood and fresh vegetables. What do we need anymore ..all the religious people living here with harmony. No restrictions.. CM of this state allows side by side to make people happy.

Fish price is good but extremely conjested area. Immediately need to shift just 200-300 meters and save the area.Its a most important road connecting Thakurpukur, cancer hospital, Haridevpur, entire Nepalganj area and Joka to rest of Kolkata. Its for this market and wholesale vegetable market nearby creates traffic congestion for hours.
