It is a suburban railway station coming under the Sealdah division. Station is mostly crowded and sheds are not covered all accross the station. Public toilets are open. Station are not so clean and whole station area is covered by various types of small shops. The station is accessible for Big Bazar Hiland Park, Peerless Hospital, Sammilani College, Iris Hospital, Apex Institute of Medical Science. Platform height is low and it is difficult for elders and kids to entrain and detrain from crowded rail coaches. Platform height should be raised.

Good service. Newly constructed. Very neat and clean.

You can go to Metropolis Mall aka INOX Hiland Park to the left direction of the platform no. 2 and Patuli Jhil to the right direction of the platform no. 2. However, this station has neither digital board, nor announcement system for the passengers by which they could get aware of their trains.

This is a railway station at Sealdah South Division which receives trains to and fro for Canning, Diamond Harbour, Magrahat etc. Platform and Station premises are not all clean and needs serious management from the railway authorities. Approach roads are also narrow. Ticket counter is outside the platform itself causing inconvenience to the railway passengers.

One of the two platforms situated in Baghajatin Railway station, All the up trains travel through this platform no. 2. Next station in up line is New Garia. Attaching train time table for reference and information. No announcements are made for train arival at station, so for safety purpose railway over bridge should be used for crossing railway track. Many shops are there in platform selling variety of products.
