She ensures that all medicines are delivered to my home promptly whenever needed and are stored in excellent condition. Me and family have been visiting Kottakal AVS, Vartaknagar Branch for the past 20 years+. The Doctors are good in prescribing correct medicines which are available in house. We are satisfied with the services and do not hesitate to recommend. Annajee Rao Peri, Mahalakshmi Peri. 01.06.2024

This place is NOT hygienic for Ayurvedic massages. The table is not cleaned after each customer, the room is VERY small and uncomfortable. Customers come away with back-pain esp. Senior Citizens. Additionally, they charge Rs. 1500 for a 50 minute massage. Massage experience was poor. On top of this, any feedback given is just NOT appreciated. And finally, they want all payment in cash. So there is no accounting and no tax paid to the govt. Go here only if you need to pickup some medicines. Avoid Ayurvedic massage at this shop.

I was experiencing a bad Hip pain for the last few months. I visited the Doctor in Kottakal for the same, he gave me few Medicines and recommended Massage treatment called Uzhichil. Now my Hip pain has reduced considerably after few sessions of Massage, few are pending. I definitely recommend everyone to follow Alternate therapy like Ayurveda from Kottakal Arya Vaidya shala and get rid of ailments from the root. These treatments give Permanent relief and are cost effective too.

They are on first floor of a commercial complex that is not well maintained. The building does have an old elevator but it is better to take the stairs. Car parking is available on the road outside. One has leave foot wear outside their premises. They have a bench for patients who are waiting. Two doctors, a lady and a man sit at this clinic. They have a manual recording of patient details and prescription. I have found their doctors prescribe appropriate medications after patiently listening to the customers. The preparation of the medication takes time. Mixtures are prepared after the prescription and one has to wait for the process. The store person is helpful and repeats the dosage and instructions in the prescription. They even give a plastic flash to help customers measure out the liquids. The pharmacy also has personal care products on sale. A mezzanine floor has a massage table used by the clinic. The clinic charges no consultation and the medication is reasonably priced. Although there are other stores of theirs af Thane I prefer this one for ease of parking and good service I have received over multiple visits.
