We are highly satisfied with the Cataract operation of Right eye of my wife Mrs Sonali Mukhopadhyay conducted successfully by Dr.Lav Kochgaway on 27/01/26 at Netralayam Super Speciality Eye Care Centre. Today the final check up of Right Eye has been conducted by the said Surgeon . The process of registration, Biometric tests and other formalities conducted at the center by the entire teams are praise worthy. We r highly thankful to the entire team led by Dr.Lav Kochgaway.

I had a very disappointing experience at this hospital. In 2023, at a different clinic, I was prescribed −0.25D spherical power in my left eye and had no issues with vision using glasses. On 4/2/26 I visited this hospital for an updated check. I clearly reported difficulty seeing the classroom board and headaches, but I was given a prescription of 0.00D in the left eye and advised that no correction was needed. I trusted this assessment and purchased new lenses (₹2400) and a frame (₹500). With those glasses my distance vision became significantly worse. I experienced ghosting/shadowing of text and increasing eye strain, especially in the evenings. I returned for re-evaluation at the same hospital on 25/02/26 and only after repeated insistence was −0.5D finally prescribed in the left eye. With the corrected lens my vision is now clear, confirming the earlier prescription here was inaccurate for my functional vision. Because of the initial error and dismissal of symptoms, I had to pay an additional ₹1300 to replace the left lens. Patients should not have to advocate this hard to have visual complaints taken seriously, nor incur avoidable costs due to incorrect refraction. I would strongly urge stricter attention to patient-reported symptoms during eye testing and better quality control before issuing prescriptions. This experience caused unnecessary visual discomfort, academic difficulty, and financial loss. UPDATE: The hospital replied to this review stating that the concerned doctor would contact me regarding the issue. However, it has been three days and I have not received any call or communication yet. I hope the hospital follows up as promised.

Dr Sagar Bhargava has been exclusively good in guiding me to go for cataract operation with multifocal lens. The operation was smooth and painless in the hands of an expert and a professional doctor Mr. Sagar Bhargava. Last year in September 2024 i was operated for cataract with Multifocal Lens on the advise of the doctor and all went good. This year too in January 2026 i did another eye operation with Multi-focal Lens. Now i dont need to wear glasses anymore. Thanks to Dr Sagar Bhargava for advising me for the Lens. I suggest patients to know more about Multi-focal lens from the doctor before any cataract operation, if needed.
