Every Axis Bank has become a marketing hub. Every time I visit the bank, they check the balance and start selling different insurance policies, and most of them do not work out. This review is not just location-specific, but for every branch. Here is the problem with Axis Bank 1. They pull up the account using my phone number; no verification is done on who I am. 2. They can view my cash balance. This is really a security issue, and I am not sure how bankers can get to know the balance. Maybe Axis Bank wants to know the balance and encourages its staff to sell more? 3. Most of the staff asked to send some WhatsApp messages, and I requested them not to send as I don't trust. But I still got messages as well as calls. Although I don't click on WhatsApp messages, it is not professional to communicate on WhatsApp, as there is a security risk when links are shared. The phone numbers are saved in their personal phones, and later they can get in touch for other reasons. One of the major issues with the bank is that it does not support international numbers for NRO or NRE accounts, so how can you even maintain the accounts?
