Receptionist not good and cheating people. They don't deserve even 1 star...looting money from customers. They charged 2800 for 2 rooms. And not provided proper bill also. Rooms also not clean. Very poor toilets. Better not to take such kind of hotel.
Good location, decent rooms, but one thing that made this place worth living was the staff, they treated us so well that we got attached to the place. If anyone looking for a good low budget hotel, this place is a must visit. Had a fantastic time here.
I had stayed at "Payal Hotel" on my short trip to Delhi and had booked the room through MakeMyTrip. The room was quite spacious with proper care given to thhe comfortable and basic needs of a person. It had a nice bed with comfortable mattress and freshly washed linens. I had booked the non AC room and to my surprise it got mildly cold with just the fan working. The staffs were polite and sweet and refilled the bottles as soon as I got in. It did not take much time for me during the check in at the reception and cleanliness round the corridor was remarkable. The washroom was vlean and well lit and the toiletries were provided along with towels and had a mirror to get dressed. Everything about the hotel is good as they gave proper attention to sanitation and safety and were always attentive to my needs.
No AC between 6 to 9 pm that's the rule here. Rest of the time AC off due to power cut. So pay them for AC room and stay in non AC environment. Dingy rooms with bathrooms where you can barely move around is what you get for Rs 900. Better to take a large nicely furnished room in Vivek hotel next door at a price of Rs 700 or cheaper room fir Rs 500 in Namaskar hotel. Too many steps to climb to reach rooms in hotel Payal. Not good for elder people. Payal hotel gives these tiny rooms for Rs 800 for non AC and Rs 1000 for AC but may reduce after negotiation. They quote very high for their tiny dingy rooms that's why mostly the rooms remain unsold. Clients walk away after seeing rooms. There are better and cheaper hotels next door. So, avoid Payal hotel. No room service and bell, so you have to run to reception through plenty of steep stairs to get yourself heard. No cold water for drinking. Bathroom does not have hooks and wash basin is very tiny. Buckets and mugs very dirty. The taps are defective. The reception gives reason of no power to keep the AC switched off in the morning for 3-4 hours and then they have a rule to keep the AC switched off in the evening from 6-9 pm. In short, in AC room there is no AC most of the time. They do not tell this to you at the time of check-in.
Not for family or ladies. After doing online payment they will deny the check in and again they will ask for the payment. No room service available. After one guest checks out they don't even clean the room. Every trash will be there inside the room, no hot water if we ask they will keep on saying u will get hot water in 1 hour 2 hour like that. Even after paying the cash also they won't provide invoice. Washrooms are not neat. Staffs are very rude and careless.
