We were visiting Delhi and needed a place to stay urgently for the night. It was me, my mother, and my sister. While booking the hotel online, I accidentally selected 2 adults instead of 3. The price for 3 adults was the same, so I didn’t think it would be an issue. However, when we reached the hotel, the staff refused to let us check in and demanded extra payment — not just the small difference that should have applied, but almost five times the amount! When I tried to reason and said I’d pay whatever the correct amount for 3 adults showed online, they still insisted on charging much more. After arguing, they shifted us to another property (Hotel Karlo Kastle) saying it would be “better,” but even after paying extra, that hotel was in terrible condition. We were given a ground-floor room that was completely worn out — the mattress springs were coming out, the room was dirty, and the overall environment felt unsafe. When we raised our concerns, the staff and manager were rude and misbehaved instead of helping us. We had no choice but to stay for the night as it was already late, but it was one of the worst experiences ever. There was no basic sense of hospitality, safety, or respect. I would strongly advise others not to stay at this hotel. Even if you have to pay a little more elsewhere, choose a place that treats its guests properly and provides a safe, clean environment.

My recent stay at Hotel Karlo Kastle was nothing short of delightful. From the moment we arrived until checkout, the experience was smooth, comfortable, and truly personalized. The facilities are modern and well-maintained, but what truly elevated our visit was the exceptional dedication of the staff. The rooms were spacious, clean, and provided a peaceful retreat after a day of travel. The housekeeping team deserves praise for their attention to detail. A special and heartfelt commendation must go to two individuals who made our stay seamless: Durgesh and Vaibhav Tripathi. Durgesh was incredibly helpful and professional. Whether it was assisting with a quick and efficient check-in, promptly addressing our requests for extra amenities, or offering genuine local insights, his welcoming demeanor and proactive approach made us feel instantly at home. He is a wonderful asset to the front-of-house team. Furthermore, the level of professionalism and leadership demonstrated by Vaibhav Tripathi was truly impressive. He personally ensured that the service standards in the dining areas were top-notch, checking in with guests to guarantee satisfaction. His commitment to hospitality shone through, making our meals not just satisfying, but an enjoyable part of the overall experience. We highly recommend Hotel Karlo Kastle not just for its amenities and location, but especially for the dedicated and caring staff members like Durgesh and Vaibhav Tripathi. We look forward to returning soon!

The room was good but the bathroom was not good. There was a smell from the bathroom and the hot water was also not very hot. When I complained and asked to shift to another room, they said that all the rooms are like this.. and one more thing the hotel is inside the street, the location was not good. I booked the hotel after looking at its ratings. It was okay as per the price range. It is suitable for bachelor boys and not for families. Environment it's not good, not recommending for families

I am not a fan of bad reviews but sometimes people need to be warned. I’ll start with the good, the folks running the place are good people who are really trying to make the stay a good one. Unfortunately, everything around the hotel is working against them. Location wise, the hotel is generally central and close to the train station but the street it is on is filthy, stinky, messy and didn’t feel safe. The alley the hotel is on has a public urinal right in the middle of it, you can probably vision the rest. The hotel itself is very old and dated and so are the rooms. The trip advisor and Google images are misleading. The rooms were very dirty and in great need of total repair, from uncomfortable beds and pillows, linens with holes and stains, a sink where water magically drip on the floor when turned on. The AC wasn’t working at all and for water you needed to move a bucket and shower practically on top of the toilet. There was also no toilet paper. The hotel was loud until late in the night, there was a glass window above the door with no curtain which means that bright light came in from the hallway. I think you get the picture, there are a few other hotels in the neighborhood that might be better or pick a completely different neighborhood. I would never come here with kids/family and to make my point, despite paying, I decided to move for my next night and pay for another night.
