I particularly given 1 star for food, service and atmosphere because that's exactly what i felt. It is almost midnight and I'm still belching on the meals I had this noon. Food quality really poor. As far as the service is concerned, the waiters literally toss the food on the table they don't even respect food on traditional basis. They ask 5 rupees for a broken puppad and restrict us from drinking buttermilk. They say they have buttermilk only for rice. Atmosphere is needless to say you can just see the picture they have the least atmosphere with least cleanliness I have no idea how this place have 4 star rating.

Today I visited Sri Krishna Bhavan with my family for lunch, and unfortunately it turned out to be a very disappointing experience. When we entered the hotel, there were service staff standing nearby, but instead of attending to customers they were busy chatting among themselves. Not even a single staff member came forward to ask us what we needed or guide us to a table. As a customer visiting with family, the basic expectation is that someone will welcome you or at least acknowledge your presence. At the cash counter, there was a person standing there as well. I was waiting for a chair to sit, but even he did not inform the service staff to assist us. We had to find a seat ourselves without any help from the staff. This kind of lack of attention towards customers is really disappointing. After sitting for some time, still no one came to take our order. Finally, a service boy came and asked what we wanted. I told him we needed 3 meals. Only then he said that for meals we have to buy a token from the cash counter first. This made me even more frustrated. If this is the system in the hotel, the staff should inform customers immediately when they enter or before taking the order. Instead, I had to get up again and go back to the cash counter to buy the token. This kind of service shows very poor management and customer care. People usually come to hotels after a long day, sometimes already tired or hungry. Good service can make the experience pleasant, but in this case the attitude of the staff made the experience worse. What disappointed me the most was that even the management or the person at the counter did not bother to guide customers or instruct the service staff properly. It felt like no one cared about customer satisfaction. Because of this experience, I felt very angry and disappointed. I honestly feel that the service quality here needs serious improvement. Basic hospitality, communication, and respect towards customers are very important in the food industry. Based on today’s experience, I would personally give 0 star rating if that option were available. I am writing this review so that other customers can know about the service situation before visiting this hotel. I sincerely hope the management of Sri Krishna Bhavan, improves their customer service and trains their staff to treat customers with proper attention and respect.

Veg lunch so tasty. When ever I go Chennai, I plan my lunch here. I highly recommend this hotel for vegetarian food lovers. Keep it up, management. Thanks to my friend Arul/ TNEB, for having introduced this to me.
