It’s pity that one cannot rate someone negative here else I would have given him -5. Nevertheless my ordeal started when upon my need to get a document registration done I reached Tehsil Ghaziabad. I started asking the deed writers there on the cost they’ll charge me and found that the going rate was 4-4.5k (4500). However i wanted to choose someone credible, and then I stumbled upon Mr. Budh Prakash Sharma in Chamber No. 21. He is one of the office bearers of the association and thus became my natural choice to go ahead with the registration process. Since I wanted to have a clarity on the prices I asked him multiple times but he wouldn’t give me any figure. On the contrary he sugarcoated his words by saying “aap kaam kara lo, kuch mat dena”, and “jo dil kare de dena”. We anyhow went ahead with him and got the registration done. The suffering started the moment we stepped out the registration office. He bluntly asked for Rs. 10,000/-, and upon my saying that “Sharmaji this is not the going rate here & moreover earlier you said jo theek lage, what has happened now, all of a sudden”. Hearing which he started creating a scene and arm twisting us. I offered to pay him 5k but he wouldn’t budge, and started those dirty tactics - give 5k now, and collect your documents from the sub-registrar yourself. Seeing no way out I also proposed that’s let’s settle it when I come back in 2 days to collect the documents from him. But he just wouldn’t agree. Finding no way around this utter non-sense and when I realised that no logic or reasoning was working out with him, we had to succumb to his pressure. A LESSON LEARNT. But advise for anyone who reads this, AVOID BUDH PRAKASH SHARMA, deed writer, at all costs.
