Blissful. The Sri Prasanna Veeranjeneya Swami Temple in Bangalore is one of the many temples in Karnataka dedicated to Lord Hanuman. It is located in Mahalakshmi Layout, Bangalore, and is easily accessible by public transportation or car. The temple was built in 1976 when a local sculptor carved a statue of Lord Hanuman on a giant rock. The statue is 22 feet tall and 16 feet wide. In addition to the statue of Lord Hanuman, the temple also contains statues of other deities such as Lord Ganapathy, Rama, Sita, Lakshmana, Anjaneya, Lakshmi, and Mahalakshmi. The temple is open seven days a week from 6 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and 4:30 to 8:30 p.m.. The temple is surrounded by a park and is close to several fast food shops and public transportation stops. Throughout the year, the temple celebrates many important Hindu festivals such as Hanuma Jayanthi and Sri Rama Navami. One of the most notable events at the temple is the Benne Alankara, which takes place in August and involves decorating the deities with large amounts of butter.

Sri Veeranjaneya Swamy Temple is a powerful and peaceful spiritual place. What began as local worship of a large painting on a hillock in the early 1970s has grown into a grand temple after the 22-foot Hanuman idol was carved by sculptor Shanmukhananda Sthapati in 1976, with consecration completed in 1985. The temple has transformed a barren hill into an important pilgrimage site. A truly divine place filled with positive energy and devotion. Highly recommended for peace, faith, and spiritual strength.🙏

This one has been our family's main temple because our main deity is Lord Hanuman, right from childhood, I grew up visiting this temple, oldest temple in this area and it is so pure and devotional. We became hardcore Ram devotees by this temple. Their Ram idol is so beautiful. Lord Hanuman's idol is so gigantic and it always gets beautiful decorations. Jai Shree Ram ❤️🙏.
