Disclaimer: This is NOT a paid review. Instead, it's an ode to a brilliant restaurant deserving of the recognition from ardent foodies like me. This is a hidden gem in the bustling food universe of Pashan. I recently discovered it and I think it is the best thing to happen to my foodie palette. Despite being a very humble, yet clean non-airconditioned restaurant with just about 10 tables, the food that comes out of its kitchen is simply finger licking good. The quantities are ample and the flavors authentic. I'll definitely recommend their thalis, moghlai as well as their Chinese. They have a vast menu, and the slightly longish wait time is worth the gastronomic experience after. Agreed that you won't find the bells and whistles of the fine dining we're used to at Saffron, Tipzo and Shivanjali, but the simplistic ambience of Sai Leela coupled with its delicious and reasonably priced authentic cuisine will surely give you that dhaba wali feel. If you live in a radius of 2 kilometres from this restaurant, they will deliver piping hot food right at your doorstep. Do visit at least once, or order in, and you'll never want to eat from another restaurant in Pashan again. ~Om Sai Ram~
About everyone reviews good but mine Very disappointing experience. The chicken thali was not tasty, the rice was watery, and the service was extremely poor. Needs significant improvement.
Earlier quantity was good, but they have reduced it significantly now
I ordered Special Chicken thali, very disappointing. Quantity is less, very poor packaging and not following order instructions they just don’t care about customers
I just paid 400 rupees to eat stale rice—what an experience! You have to wait 25 minutes for a single *bhakri*, and they don't even have small bottles of cold water; you're forced to buy a large one. If you ask for a *bhakri*, they bring a *roti* instead, and the staff speaks with a terrible attitude. There’s no Wi-Fi, and the washbasin is filthy. I say, go there yourself and enjoy some nice, hard, stale rice.
