For Arnala fort you take train to Virar get down there you will get Auto directly to Arnala beach jetty for Arnala fort. Otherwise get share auto Rs.30 each.. they will drop you at Arnala macchi market. You can get bus from st depo in Virar West Rs.15 each. From here you can walk for five to ten minutes towards jetty. Here you will get boat to Arnala fort Rs.20. Once you get down at Fort walk towards temple on your right side Kalika Devi. After this you can go to Fort it's wall's are still strong enough. The entrance from sea is beautiful architecture. Inside the for ruins of walls seen... There are more than 3 fresh water wells present. One under Banyan tree is used by locals for washing clothes and other is smaller which is also widely used for daily routine. The one which is near the temple is the square shape and largest one. There are two temples inside the fort seems newly created with white wash and tiles. The land inside is used for farming. Whole fort walls are used for drying the fishes.The ASI has ignored this gem of Fort. It should be developed and preserved and open tourism. The locals dump their garbage direct to sea so be careful when you walk on beach and fort area numerous beer bottles and glasses shattered everywhere. Fort is in very bad shape. Hope ASI will look into this matter to restore the glory of Arnala fort. The locals are very friendly and they will guide you through your way. One can visit a mosque Always ask about boat timings for safer side. Enjoy the historical Arnala Fort.

Very old fort nearby Arabian sea ,very calm place Your mind will dip in peace once you reach here People living here are very calm and talk very softly and help for all tourist You need to take boat to reach there , charges will be only 10rs for boat 🚢 ⛵ ride One thing I wanted to inform to government is to look into this fort in terms of cleaning the place, do renovation. There are few temples of Lord Shiva ,Goddess Kalika you must visit this temples to pray and get worship

Very adventurous place to hangout with your friends and buddies. The most exciting part is to travel with boat on so speedy waves of sea. Sometime it feels horrible but at the same time it feels so adventurous and exciting that you wouldn't sit on the seats instead you will stand and will enjoy the waves of sea and ups and down of boat in the sea. This fort has its historical value and importance which makes it great place to visit. The fisherman's who live on this island with the families are really super strong and brave people hats off to all of them.

A historical place..absolutely wonderful place This fort is located on an island in the sea amazing view love it We have to go here by boat ticket price 20 rupees person .  but autorities needs alot to improve experience of tourists. If the people living here pay attention to cleanliness, there is no place like it and a clean environment like it.The people living there should be respected. They are struggling for very small things. Vegetables are the daily necessities
