Today I visited Royal tiffin centre . The food was okay — decent taste and portion size for the price. However, the ambiance left much to be desired. The place felt a bit cramped and not very clean. It's fine for a quick bite if you're not too particular about the surroundings.

Royal Tiffin Centre, Banjara Hills is a well-known spot for South Indian breakfast lovers, especially those who enjoy classic tiffins at reasonable prices. The place has a simple, no-frills setup and usually gets quite busy during peak morning hours, which itself shows its popularity among locals. The food quality is mostly good and comforting. Their idli is soft and fluffy, and the dosa is crisp with a decent amount of ghee, giving it that traditional flavor. The chutneys are fresh and tasty, though the spice level can sometimes feel inconsistent depending on the rush. Sambar is flavorful, but on some days it can be slightly thin. Service is quick, but because of the crowd, it may feel a bit rushed. Seating is limited, and during peak hours you might have to wait for a table or stand and eat. Hygiene is fairly maintained, but there is scope for improvement, especially when the place is packed. Overall, Royal Tiffin Centre is a good option for quick, affordable, and satisfying South Indian tiffins in Banjara Hills. If you’re looking for luxury dining, this isn’t the place—but for authentic taste and value for money, it’s definitely worth a visit, especially in the mornings.

Visited Royal Tiffin Centre in Banjara Hills at 4:00 AM on Feb 4 for a parcel of idli and Mysore bonda. Total cost was just ₹100—super affordable, and the packing was excellent and hygienic, which is great for late-night/early-morning grabs. Idli and bonda were decent and fresh, but the chutneys? Absolute disaster. Super watery, tasteless, and basically undrinkable—ruined the entire meal once I got home. What’s the point of good mains if the chutney side is this bad? Feels overhyped for Banjara Hills standards. Skip unless they fix the chutneys—try Local Tiffin Centre or similar spots nearby for better balance. Hyderabad has too many solid options!

So thought let’s have a quick bite here. I tried their Chutney. Don’t know for sure as it does. It taste all the time same. But when I visited here, Chutney was too good, and I am the one who doesn’t generally like Chutney generally go with Sambar aur Alam Chutney, but Chutney here looks like they use fresh Pali groundnut I tried Idly here. It was too good. Even the Sambar looks like the place had multiple options for breakfast, snacks, and other chart, kind of place, but honestly, breakfast was too good.
