I purchased a TV from Giriyas, Ramnagar on 21st. The experience inside the store until payment was good. Salesperson Devaraj explained the product well, gave a proper demo, understood our requirement, and helped us finalize the TV immediately. The TV was delivered on 22nd morning as promised. Unfortunately, the post-purchase service has been extremely poor and frustrating. Installation was promised on 22nd, but no technician visited. I kept following up continuously from morning till 7:30 PM, and every time I was given false assurances that the technician would arrive by end of the day. I stayed home the entire day waiting. Today is 23rd, and the TV is still not installed. The installation coordinator Kumaraswamy S. has behaved in a highly unprofessional and irresponsible manner. He stopped responding to my calls and even started cutting my calls. After almost an hour, I called him from another number—only then did he respond and bluntly said that he is not going to visit today. Because of this one person, I have wasted two full days, taken leave from work for two days, and still the installation is pending. Now I am being told he will come tomorrow morning, which again means I have to take leave and wait, without any confidence or commitment. In the meantime, I reached out to salesperson Devaraj, who sincerely tried to help. He said he would escalate the issue and confirmed that he spoke to the Installation Manager, Purushottam, assuring that installation would be done at any cost. However, even after this escalation, there was absolutely no action. This makes me seriously question whether the installation manager is also not serious about customer time and concerns. If escalation to management doesn’t result in action, then where is the accountability? This experience has completely broken my trust. If this is the condition just for installation, I honestly worry how future service or maintenance issues will be handled. I am extremely disappointed and frustrated. Giriyas management must take strict and immediate action, or more customers will continue to suffer due to such careless and disrespectful service.
