This shop is located in the Alpha 1 market opposite to the stairs of Post office 🏤. This shop has the advantage of being the very few of the shops in this area as there are not many options here. You can get the breakfast here. It's a sweet shop with yummy jalebi, samosa and bread pakoda and tasty poori sabji for breakfast options.
Babu Ratan is quite famous for the sweets, the uniqueness of the shop is they prepare food with desi ghee. I tried so many sweets here and the quality they maintained is good. Recommended sweets are - chena, Gulabjamun, malaichena, sohanhalwa is the best. It's 360 degree open shop. Apart from sweets , south indian and north indian food (Chole bhature, puri aaloo, parathas, dosa , idli etc also available). Parathas are too good. Thali for student is just Rs 70 and it's a complete meal.
Must try their golgappe. Ask them to add hot chhole and make it spicy. Then enjoy the burst of flavours in mouth. Also samosas and jalebis are unmatched.
Had good experience with them. ordered 50 small boxes of motichoor Laddus for Prasaad and 55 samosas ,55 imartees and 6 kgs of dhoklas as snacks for a small puja gathering at home. Everything was ready at the time asked, was freshly prepared, tasty and good quality
23/9/24 Paani Gol Gappe are nice - Rs 30 (6 P). Dahi Gol Gappe are tasty - Rs 60 (6 P). Sweet Lassi is good. Served in kullhad - Rs 50 (1). Gol Gappe water is nice. Only concern is cleanliness and hygiene. I saw a big black madhumakhi on a gol gappa. Also some flies on others. The boy who served gol gappe removed that one which had a big fly. But still, if flies are resting on them then people's health is at risk. It would be better if that area gets covered up. I didn't find seats good in outer area. It can be improved so that people can sit there and eat.
