It's a bit busy shop. Very good sweets (rasgulla and sandesh). Felt okay with pricing. The staff in the shop was kind. They took additional 20 rs for airport packaging of sweets however it was nicely packed and worth it for travellers who want to carry.

Visiting Balaram Mullick & Radharaman Mullick in Gariahat was an absolute delight! The sweets were incredibly fresh, rich in authentic Bengali flavour, and beautifully presented. The highlight, though, was the staff – warm, friendly, and truly passionate about what they do. I was looking to take some sweets back home to Australia and asked for guidance. Without hesitation, they pointed me toward professionally packed options that are perfect for travel and can stay fresh for weeks as long as the packaging remains sealed. I was especially impressed by how well-informed they were about international travel restrictions, especially Australia’s strict rules. Their assurance and clarity made my shopping stress-free. Overall, a wonderful experience – great sweets, great service, and a team that genuinely cares. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Kolkata!

Most beloved sweet destination in kolkata. All of sweets are very testy and flavourful. A must try place for all misti lover.

Tried varieties of sandesh, baked sweets and they were good. Service was bad, particularly for non locals though.
