This shop and the owner Majid is a hidden treasure. He mainly does mending/ripu on saree, pant, shirt, kurta etc. I was looking for falls and pico near Park street area. I was in a hurry as I have to catch a flight in the afternoon. No one is ready to get them ready within a few hours. Not even only pico. Then someone suggested R.N.Darning house. After listening my urgency, Majid immediately called someone for saree pico (at this point no time for stitching fall) and took full responsibility to complete the task in spite of his busy work. Within one hour, he informed me that the job is done. He didn’t charge me extra for his extra time to coordinate everything. And he asked for a reasonable price for everything. I am very grateful to Majid for his honest efforts to help me.
