One stop for electrical goods for a household. What attracted me most was lights. One can purchase huge chandeliers to small bulbs at nominal price. Yes, it’s crowded most of the time but they have so many staff to cater to the needs of their customers. The metro station is 200 meters (max) away from the shop, so it’s walkable distance too.
One of the most hyped shop in the market. But no service at all. First of all the staff is very rude , they act like they are very busy. And they dont give proper bill after purchase. You have to keep the paper bill they give you for claiming warranty. We brought havells panel lights around 25 pieces 6 months before with 2 years warranty but 2 or 3 lights stopped working . We lost the paper bill written by hand at the time of purchase. When we went and requested for replacement ,the guy in led section area acted very rude and denied to replace the product. No post sales service
This is my shop where I get all the electricals from. They themselves ask you to get the discount from the cashier. They don't give discount on mrp. They give discount on their selling price.
Standard Electricals might look like a big, “all-in-one” electric shop, but honestly, it’s more hype than helpful. From the outside, it feels like a go-to place for all kinds of electrical needs — switches, wires, bulbs, fans, appliances, you name it. But when you really start buying from there, you realize that things aren’t as great as they appear. First of all, the prices are too high. One day, I personally compared the prices of electric wires, and found them significantly higher than a small local electrical shop just down the road. You would think a big shop would offer better rates or discounts due to bulk supply — but no, they’re just charging more because they know people don’t compare or have time to shop around. Secondly, the crowd is just ridiculous. The shop is always full, shoulder-to-shoulder kind of crowded. You can’t even breathe properly inside, let alone get your work done peacefully. And don’t even think about parking — there’s absolutely zero parking, not even space to keep your cycle! How can a big store be so badly planned? Also, the workers are rude. They act like they’re doing you a favor just by speaking to you. No patience, no politeness. If you ask for something simple, they either ignore you or talk with attitude. The whole process is chaotic — and even if you want to buy just a small item, you end up wasting an hour. No proper billing system, no clear counters, no organized staff. Everything feels slow and messy. It’s as if the shop is always in a rush, but nothing moves forward. You stand in line forever, and even then the staff looks confused, distracted, or just plain annoyed. No customer service at all. In short, Standard Electricals is not worth the stress. Yes, they may have everything under one roof — but what’s the point if it takes forever, costs more, and you get treated poorly? You’re better off going to a smaller, honest shop nearby where the prices are better, and people actually respect customers.
I have taken Magdolin 70 watts lights it got dim with in a year when I visited for repair person asked me to bring the warrenty bill. Next day when I showed him the bill he told no it is not the correct bill as the year which was there is not correct on light. Do while giving me did they informed it is a old stock no I was not aware. Even I asked him if needed any money to repair will give the same. He told me these are use and thru lights and nor repairable. Please don't take it going further this brand lights as the sellers are telling it has warrenty post that no proper response from standard shop.
