I ordered Dragon Chicken from Khalid's Biryani as a takeaway for Rs. 269 and had to wait 30 minutes to receive my order. Upon opening the parcel, I found that half of the container was filled with oil(uploaded a photo), and it contained only four small pieces of chicken, with an excess of onions and capsicum. I recommend considering other options before choosing Khalid's Biryani. Waiting time 30 mins 👎

Food taste has gone down. Service is not that great. We have to ask for the usual things like water, etc. Biryani was good. Mutton pepper Marsala was worst. Now since metro work is going on, there is no car parking available now. Not well maintained nowadays. This outlet is very worst. Seems there is change in management of this one.

Worst experience, I have ordered fish finger and crab lollipop in Swiggy. It was pathetic and very much bad taste. But the wash basin and washroom were not maintained properly. Very Disappointing Experience I ordered Chicken 65 from Kalid’s Briyani, Keelkattalai (Chennai branch), and it was extremely disappointing. The dish costs ₹220 for just 6 pieces, which is quite expensive, but the quality did not justify the price at all. The chicken pieces were small, dry, and lacked the authentic Chicken 65 flavor. It felt more like reheated fried chicken rather than a freshly prepared dish. The taste was bland, and the masala coating was uneven. For the price charged, I expected much better quality and portion size. Overall, this was not value for money. I hope the management pays attention to food quality and pricing, as this experience has seriously affected my impression of the restaurant.

Khalids Biriyani was one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had. I visited on Christmas Day 2025. Even nearby local biryani shops were far more crowded, which itself said a lot. The restaurant felt more like a godown than a dining place — unpleasant smell, sticky chairs and tables, and very poor hygiene overall. The cashier at the billing counter was extremely unwelcoming and seemed visibly irritated with customers. Despite all this, I still hoped the food would redeem the place. Unfortunately, the taste was even worse than the ambience. Highly disappointing experience. I would strongly suggest staying away.
