May 2024: Great place to shop. One of the first shopping complex with central AC back in 80's. Still going good, though most of the shopping is in ground floor. Good quality clothing and accessories here.

Shakespeare sarani is one of the busiest place of kolkata. A.c. market is one of the oldest & sophisticated market - where people find their best choice products. Birla planetarium is just opposite side of the road. People here are always busy- many offices, shops are here. Many street food vendors are busy with their customers. All the parking areas are full of cars. A big crowd is everywhere. City of joy is here fully busy, buses ,cars are coming & going. A big market place is always full of its customers.

All the shops inside are well equipped with good quality items, I had a great experience over there bought some items for home. The behaviour of the shop owners are pretty descent. I recommend all to have a visit here.

The market is good place with good bargains. Specially if you want to buy your lingrene / handkerchief, men's brief , vests, socks at reasonable rates do visit Shop number A4 - Rajkumar.

There are many stores inside AC market, shakespeare sharani. They have so much cute kawai stationaries and other things!! Love them…but price is too high
