I've been a customer to this branch of State Bank of India for long. My experience with the service is not very bad, although not excellent. Through these years, I've seen improvements in their service. However, it's extremely personal view. The branch is placed at Kolkata's one of the busiest & the oldest market place, New Market. The working hours are as per RBI rules. The ambiance is quite good with ample sitting arrangement for the customers, with token system for their convenience. This is, I guess, at par with all other branches of State Bank of India. Wish you happy banking.

I would have given them zero stars. The staff is talking among themselves. Only one cash counter is open with a queue. The cashier refused to take a cash deposit saying that it was a non home branch. The shutter was down in the e corner section. I wasted about 20 to25 mins of my valuable time

This is Central Government organizations and immediately required to Privatisation this organizations. Staff behaviours very rude due to permanent job (guests of Indian Government).

Staff behaviour is very good in this branch. It's located in a busy area amid new market and janbazar. It's just behind the e-corner of SBI.

State Bank of India is largest bank in india and best service for each and every customer.
