This place is situated at a very good place (center of kolkata) i visited only one time and got a great satisfaction. The stuffs are so helpful. And behavior is also good. The room is also Clean and clear . And most importantly you can reach here in 8 minutes from howrah and 5 minutes from sealdah. Only one thing that it is an old hotel. From out side it is not looking good. But you can visit if you wish to check in at normal budget.

Not a high end hotel but the staffs are very friendly. Rooms are small but it's a pocket friendly place to put up. College Street is at a walking distance and if one walks a little further, Coffee House is right there brewing more than just coffee.

Room need deep clean.. Here and there were cockroachs in night.. Beds are comfortable... Check in and check out was convenient.. Wash room is clen. Staff behavior was good. Next time please add two single bed in one.

This is a surprisingly neat and clean hotel, quite near to Sealdah station. It's made in an old building, so it doesn't have a lift. Service is good. 24 hour check-in is a good feature for travellers.

IDEAL HOME charge ₹1,640/- for a double bedded AC room in the 3rd floor that is also without any lift but a better accommodation, viz., NIRMAL BHAWAN in the same area charges ₹1,500/- with same facility and lift as well. One should avoid this IDEAL HOME as their staff behaviour is pretty ordinary.
