One of the most popular drink-n-chill spots in the south Kolkata area. Located in such a convenient area, no one will ever have difficulty finding this place. Friendly staff and cozy interiors paired with amazing starters and affordably priced drinks make this place a must visit spot. Although, there are a few minor issues that can be improved, such as the air conditioning system, overall cleanliness(spotted a big fat rat near the area where they keep the cutlery) and the taste of the main course items. Well, the day I had the main course items, maybe the chef was having a rough day. Ordered garlic naan with chicken tikka butter masala and jeera rice with dal makhani. But again the starters and the cocktails were really good 👌🏼

The behavior of the staff at this shop is extremely rude and unprofessional, and I was also overcharged for multiple items. First, I asked for greater than gin bottle that was clearly marked at 1450, but I was charged 1460. Later, when I asked for a tonic water, they gave me two Ballantine soda bottles, each of which had a printed price of 60. However, I was charged 150 per bottle, totaling 300. After returning home, I checked the prices and went back to the shop to return the items and purchase something else. The staff refused, saying that the bill had already been processed in their computer. When I asked for a copy of the bill, they refused to provide that as well. I have never experienced such that rude behavior at any shop ever before .

I visited After 9, and my overall experience was mixed. The seating arrangement felt a bit cramped as the tables are placed too close to each other, making it less comfortable for a relaxed outing. The ambience was just average – nothing too impressive, but decent enough for a casual evening. On the positive side, the food was quite good, with flavors that really stood out compared to the rest of the experience. The liquor prices are fairly average, so it doesn’t feel too heavy on the pocket. If you’re mainly looking for good food and reasonable drinks, After 9 is worth a visit. However, for those seeking comfort and ambience, it may not fully meet expectations.

Chill vibes , good alcohol, my all time go to place for a good weekend escape. But one complaint. Why did the happy hours go? And why are prices increased for us regulars :'( Also I love the prawn papads. Those are the only reason I didn't look out for other bar cum restaurant.
