Very decent and cosy cafe near Calcutta University. They serve very good Latte and Cappuccino among other coffees. Perfect hangout place for all types of people. They offer various veg and non-veg items. Rates are not too high for a cafe like this. This is the only place in the vicinity where you'll get various coffee items like Mocha, Affogato, Espresso, Americano, Flat White etc. Must visit if you are nearby.
First I'd like to thank "Cafe Bowbazar" for its heartwarming hospitality. It's a very cozy place. The ambience for a coffee with snacks and gossip or schedule a corporate meeting or general chat is really perfect. Speciality: The types of coffee they serve are truly remarkable and up to the mark. The varieties they make over the coffee is truly rare. I personally recommend CAFE BOWBAZAR.
If you are looking for a quick-bites place, then this is it. Now about the food— Cheesy French fries, as usual cheese on fries with some spices, good food nothing over the top Momo, I expected a little better but it was decent, not so bad Pizza - again very normal , decent pizza. It is made with the pizza bread. The food items are something you frequently eat and it's nothing out of the world but it's good if you want good quality food. About the place, I won't exactly say cozy in a good way. The place itself is pretty small, like we were a group of 3 people who kind of struggled to sit together with our legs touching and very limited space on the small tables. Like food + phone covered the whole area of the table. Plus we spent a good hour listening to someone rant because the tables were kind of close to each other The owner was nice, very friendly, and the place was air conditioned and clean. It's a place I would visit solo for quick bites or maybe with someone (single person) over-all I like the place.
Dropped by Cafe Bowbazar recently and had a fairly pleasant experience. The place has a cozy vibe that makes it a decent spot for a quick hangout. We tried their coffee, which was pretty decent — nothing extraordinary, but it did the job. Ordered the Cheesy French Fries, which were just okay — the cheese felt a bit underwhelming, and the fries could’ve been crisper. On the other hand, the Chicken Nuggets were surprisingly good — crispy on the outside, tender inside, and nicely seasoned. Prices were reasonable for the portion sizes, and the staff was polite and attentive, which added to the overall experience. Not a must-visit, but definitely not a bad choice if you’re around the area and want something quick and satisfying.
The food was really good and the price was worth it. The service was a bit slow since they operate on a small staff, which i believe were the owners themselves, but they were really helpful and nice. As for the ambience it was quite warm and cozy
