The fried chicken wontons were extremely crispy. The burnt garlic mixed fried rice was also tasty and it went well with the Schezwan chicken. Overall the food was delicious and the service was also fast. The price of the food items was affordable and student friendly. However they should increase the seating capacity.
Food is good and pocket-friendly here. Only one con, there are only 3 tables hosting 12 people at best. There is hardly any space for movement.
Well, let me be clear, it's not a fancy restro, just a walk side eatery offers chinese within budget. Made for certain hang out plans with a tiny group or solo wanderers. Not much decor, neither much light and nor fancy utensils but at personal level that lowkey non chalance on trendy aesthetic can be considered as the vibe of central north kolkata. Foods are enough to satisfy sudden cravings, spice balanced, quantity ain't compromised. Wontons are must try here. But as a pork lover I won't recommend pork preps of this place.
People of North Kolkata love the taste of food here but being from South Kolkata their food tastes pretty average for most of it. Their rice and noodles are all average in taste. Also, they're lazy. Any item that'll take time to prepare, they'll declare it as not available, for example - Cantonese Noodles... Then why keep it on the menu at all? We took, Pork Hakka noodles with Hot garlic pork Noodles were okay but their gravy dishes always tend to be sweet, each and every one of them! Authentic Chinese gravies aren't supposed to taste like Bengali Rosogolla, right? Right?
A truly hidden gem I discovered through people's advice. an unexpected delicious food place which i never saw back in time while went through the same road countless times. A small, cozy and warm place to experience mouthwatering, tasty, and pocket friendly KOLKATTAN CHINESE FOODS, which makes this place to visit once again. With juicy and succulent Steamed Pork Wontons and Flavourful and appetizing Pork Lat Me Kai makes me fan of this place. Even though the place is small for to accommodate more people at once but the waiting is worth it after eating the foods. Absolutely Love It. Oh and the sauce for those wontons was finger licking delicious.
