Lovely place, reasonably priced and damn tasty. Chowmein and friend rice are relatively high in quantity so be careful, chicken steamed momo is really really delicious and juicy! And honey crispy chilli baby corn too!

Aweful experience in Old Monk. I live in Lake Avenue and this restaurant is opposite my house. I ordered 13 combo meals for my office staff. Inspite of requesting for a customisation in the combo it was not provided(even when ready to pay extra). That still was fine, what came as a surprise they gave the combos not in a plate but in foil packs ( seperate for gravy, rice etc). Imagine this will be given to 13 ppl, think of my reputation! Also isn’t this an insult to the people I told I will treat them! On asking, the manager Ruma said it must be asked at the time of placing the order. Is this a joke? Being a customer and paying money for the food is it my responsibility to ask for comfor of food? Is it not the minimum etiquette that you should serve food in a plate? Horrendous experience and I will never recommend this place! Learn to behave with clients.

Had a lovely experience. Pocket friendly with tasty food. We had Lemon Coriander soup which was good enough for our throat and stomach. Then we ordered for Chicken tikka, the pcs of which were so big. Amazing taste.

The place boasts of an impressive menu with something for everyone's taste. What caught my attention is American Chopsuey. Though not conventially liked by all, me and my dad love this dish and find it hard to find it at places who actually make it the way it needs to be prepared. The chef nailed it and food was good. The owner Sayan also indulged my dad with malayam songs of yesudas upon request.

A small, cozy beautiful eatery having both indoor and outdoor dining spaces. During winter it is an amazing experience to enjoy your lunch under those umbrellas placed outside. The surrounding atmosphere of that location with large old trees, wide clean roads and footpaths, a calm residential neighborhood add to the beauty of the establishment. Now I come to the food. I had chinese both the times I visited and every time the food was really good. Less of spice and oils but savoury at the same time. Price is also quite affordable for all. Highly recommend.
