Located opposite to Sabeda Bagan Club, Chowrasta..Behala, this restaurant serves one of the best Bengali food in the area. The dishes that we ordered were mishti pulao, Daab Chingri, anarosh (pineapple) pora shorbot and chitol muitha.. The taste is marvelous. If you want a budget friendly dish, you can go in for their thalis which are equally good but that's enough for one person but if you are not exactly a small eater, you can try out their individual dishes along with the thalis to make it more wholesome. The staff here is pretty quick and friendly..the ambience offers you with the best of Mahanayak Uttam Kumar's movie songs and the decor of this restaurant is all about Mahanayak's best movies. This will definitely give the Bengali diners a special feeling of nostalgia with good quality food. To mention, their kitchen is pretty clean and so is the entire restaurant. To wrap it up, the restaurant offers the best ambiences along with great Bengali dishes with mishti paan in the end to offer a smile on the faces of happy diners. It's a must visit for people who love exploring the variety of Bengali food. The restaurant also offers takeaways through some leading food delivery apps therefore, if you can't make it to the restaurant, you can also order in and enjoy mouthwatering delights from this place at home.

Personal experience with Vetki Paturi and Dhokar Dalna is terrible. Lots of fish skin in Vetki Paturi which is absolutely unjustified, haven't tried like these before . Dhokar Dalna was equally bad in taste and no gravy was mixed properly and went with inside stuffing. They are usually good at Lichu Lonkar Sorbot , Jhiri Aloo bhaja, Prawn , chutney and other dishes . I'd like to request to the chef / owner of this outlet to pay the attention towards it . I've went to the other outlet of Saptapadi never experienced like these at all.

Recently we booked Saptapadi Restaurant ( behala branch) for a family event! The ambiance was really great! It was homely! The food was simply finger licking! Service was top notch! Thank you Saptapadi for making the day memorable!

We visited Saptapadi Behala first time. At first ordered Aam Panna which was very tasteful and mind soothing. Then we ordered Rice, Muri Vetki Stick, Chicken Jhol and Mutton Jhol with potato. Muri Vetki stick was very nice. But,taste of chicken jhol was below average and mutton jhol was average. Staff behavior as well as manager's behaviour is so good that i cannot express. When I complained for mutton pieces which are not cooked properly that time manager offered us for change the dish. At last when i was paying bill that time i pay excess amout they returned me very cordially. Service is really very very good. Cooking quality must be improved. Price is little bit high.
