Today on 24th September 2025 after watching the movies D-Day 2013, John Day 2013, Mardaani 2014 and Satyameva Jayate 2018 on Amazon Prime Video. I have ordered food through Swiggy from Arsalan, Prince Anwar Shah Road for the first time ever. I ordered 3 Chicken Egg Roll for Rs. 110/- each items total amount was Rs. 330.00/- with Order Packing Charges Rs. 30.00/- with Platform Fee Rs. 14.99/- and with Taxes Rs. 16.50/- my Grand total amount was Rs. 391.50/- with 50% discount code applied (ORDERON) I have saved Rs. -100.00/- with Delivery Fee (Free with Swiggy One) of Rs. 81.00/- I have saved Rs. 181.00/- on my entire bill and my net payable amount was Rs. 291.00/- which I paid it in cash on delivery to the delivery boy Tapas Das. I paid him Rs. 500.00/- and he returned me Rs. 200.00/- he didn't had any change of Rs. 9.00/- so I told him to keep the change with him. I placed an order at around 6:01pm and it was delivered within 56 minutes by 6:57pm. The chicken egg rolls were so heavy that it is enough for 1 person and you will be satisfied with it. Chicken Egg Rolls were delicious 😋 and tasty 😋 as well. The chicken pieces were juicy with eggs as well. Me and my kalpana di enjoyed ourselves. Thank you so much Arsalan for making our day special.

Last week we visited Arsalan Restaurant & Caterer in Jadavpur, a name already synonymous with Mughlai and biryani in Kolkata. Having tried their Shobhabazar branch earlier, we walked in with a bit of curiosity, especially when we noticed the prices here were slightly on the higher side. Our order included one Special Mutton Biryani, two Chicken Biryanis, and a Chicken Tangri Butter Masala. When the food arrived, the difference became clear the quality and presentation completely justified the pricing. The Mutton Biryani stood out with its perfectly cooked, tender meat and the right balance of spices that let the flavor of the rice shine through. The Chicken Biryani portions were generous, with succulent chicken pieces and fragrant, long-grain rice that carried that signature Arsalan aroma. The Tangri Butter Masala was a rich, creamy preparation, complementing the biryani beautifully and making the meal even more indulgent. Though the bill came to ₹2333 for four of us, the quantity and quality made it feel worthwhile. Service was decent, and the overall dining experience left us satisfied. Compared to Shobhabazar, this branch feels slightly premium, but the taste and consistency ensure that you get real value for money.

Their mutton biryani and chicken biryani are frequently highlighted as among the best in Kolkata. They also serve a variety of kebabs and tandoori dishes — e.g. the “Arsalan Kebab,” Mutton-Seekh, Chicken Lahori, Mutton Pasinda......etc. ARSALAN also excels in their dessert offerings. The phirni and shahi tukda are divine, providing the perfect sweet end to a sumptuous meal. Service is quick and staff members are courteous, which enhances the overall experience. Prices are on the higher side compared to some other places, but considering the quality and portion sizes, it feels justified. Its better not to visit this restaurant if you are even _PURE VEGETARIAN_ . This place is best suited for _NON VEGETARIAN_ people. No access for wheelchair. For specially able people, its better to order takeaways as the overcrowded space and lack of wheelchair access may overwhelm them while disturbing other guests visiting there. For car parking you have to use the side by road.....which is obviously free of cost. Overall, you’re paying a premium for the ARSALAN name and quality, but if you don’t mind the price, it’s a solid choice for Mughlai food.

Arsenal truly delivered one of the best dining experiences I’ve had. Their biryani is simply the best in the world, without any doubt. The rice is perfectly cooked, the flavor is rich and balanced, and the potato is just wow. The mutton is cooked to absolute perfection. We also tried the fish tikka kebab and chicken hariyali kebab. Both were good and enjoyable. The Chicken Reshmi Butter Masala was outstanding with an amazing taste and creamy texture. The Arsenal Special Chicken Masala was slightly sweet because of pineapple chunks. I usually don’t like pineapple in savory dishes, but surprisingly, I really liked this one. Overall, an excellent experience with unforgettable biryani and great main course options. Highly recommended.

Our delightful late lunch was made the best experience because of Ranjit on 3rd floor. We had Egg biriyani, Fish Arsalan and Fish tikka kabab per Ranjit's suggestion. More than enough for 2 hungry people. Here, the food is not oily at all, great tasting fish kabab and of course the biriyani. The accompanying chutney Must try. They live upto their name..!
