Bahrisons is nice book store in Park street just beside Park street metro station. They have a wide range of book collection spread across the store. Note that they also have a Blue Tokai cafe within the book shop premise which makes it further unique. A must visit for book and coffee lovers lovers.

Certainly an amazing place to spend quality time with books here. The collection is unique and many non-fiction books are here that are quite rare in other bookstores these days. There’s a mesmerising collection of classics (both vintage and modern). Moreover they said, they can bring books that are not in the store if ordered specifically with details. I found it impressive as I’m in search of some rare books. So I’ll give it a shot. And more importantly, this bookstore has a part coffee shop also that serves good coffee and food. So, it’s a win win situation for anyone who wanna stop-by to have a cuppa and check out some books.

Bahrisons Bookseller on Park Street in Kolkata is a heaven for book lovers. This branch of the well-known Delhi bookstore offers a diverse collection spanning various genres, including fiction, non-fiction, classics, and even rare editions. The ambiance is delightful, with a calm and old-school library vibe that makes browsing a pleasure. It also has a Blue Tokai coffee roaster which makes it a perfect spot to read, relax and engage in bookish discussions over a cup of coffee.

Great collection of books with a cafeteria at a vantage location. But the cafe upstairs needs a dedicated person to take orders and serve them. Climbing stairs up and down is quite tedious. Keep a bell or arrange for some communication with the staff downstairs. If you are looking for a quiet cafe, this is not the one. Extremely noisy, my throat is sore from trying to talk to my friends. Also too warm in this cold.

I will say the book space is less and cafe part is more extended , though the book organisation is really good on the shelf and the collection is fairly well all together it still needs more variety of book and book space . The food menu as well reasonable for price need more flavours for our Indian market.
