We tried Tom Yum soup which was well made but had a extra dash of lemon. Then we had golden monk chicken which came with salad. Salad should have been cold. This dish was very nutritious and good for health conscious people. We had tempura prawns sushi. It was average. I liked their wasabi which had slight sweet tinge to it. Noodles with exotic vegetables which had ample of vegetables with some fried noodles. Crunchiness of noodles and vegetables was giving it a very good consistency. For dessert we had crispy honey noodles with ice cream. It was well made but the there was small dollop of ice cream and plate full of noodles. We expected dessert to be in little smaller quantity and there was disproportionate amount of ice cream and noodles. Overall it's a pocket friendly place for asian cuisine. Service was good. They can improve their ambience. It's a small place so could be difficult to find for first comers.

Golden Monk is situated in the sab tv lane in Amdheri Lokhandwala and is a great option for chinese cuisine. They have a themed chinese decor and serves tasty & yummy chinese dishes. Leave it to me ❤️: This mocktail is made up of soda , ginger , mint and sugar syrup which is just so soothing and refreshing to have. Virgin Pina Colada : Classic drink made to perfection. Manchow Soup ❤️: Ordered Jain option for Manchow soup which was just yummy and tasty with great taste to offer. Paneer Chilly ❤️: Classic Paneer Chilly was spicy and good to have. Aubergine with Basil & Chilly ❤️: Crispy Aubergine with Basil & Chilly was a great option to taste rather than the usual ones. Malaysian Flat Noodles ❤️: Malaysian Flat Noodles had an authentic Chinese taste and had a decent quantity to fulfill your tummy. Crispy Honey Noodles with IceCream : Crispy Honey Noodles topped with Vanilla IceCream is a great option for dessert to end your dine on a high.

I had lunch at Golden Monk during a random visit. I was in Andheri and looking for a nearby place to eat, so we decided to walk in. We ordered one combo set first. The taste was good. Later, we ordered Khao Suey, which was disappointing and not up to the mark. The ambience was okay, but the air conditioning was not working properly, which made the experience less comfortable. Overall, the food was just average. However, after returning home, I felt extremely tired. I kept drinking a lot of water continuously and eventually fell asleep. After waking up, my entire body still felt exhausted. I’m not sure why this happened, but it felt similar to how one feels after consuming food with excessive additives like ajinomoto. Overall, it was an average experience, but the post-meal discomfort was concerning.

Golden monk serves such good Chinese food. Recently ordered from this place and the food was simply superb! I ordered the following items: Crispy chicken: My favourite Chinese appetizer and golden monk made sure that it was perfect. The chicken was crisp and the tangy flavour was superb and I loved every bite! Chicken Malaysian flat noodles: These are flat noodles that has exotic veggies and chicken and egg. These noodles literally had the perfect flavour and the quantity was superb. Really amazing stuff! Chicken clay pot rice: This rice item had an amazing quantity and had different veggies, mushrooms and chicken in its contents. This was more of a gravy cum rice item. The taste was fabulous and all the ingredients were very well cooked! The packaging was also very good! The food was delicious and the quantity was great! Golden monk is a place that'll definitely make you it's fan with its value for money food with superb quantity and amazing taste!

Not very happy with the food. It was salty and had basic taste. Nothing extra ordinary. Plates which were already on the table in upside down position, there was dust on it. There was not even saunf/mouth freshner.
